Overview
Lineage
The rSIR image reconstruction algorithm (Long and Daum, 1998; Long and Brodzik, 2016) was applied to SMOS L1C data (version 724) at 37.5°-42.5° incidence angle from 2010-04-01 to 2024-03-31. These maps were further used to derive SMOS melt (wet/dry) status on both ice sheets.
