Source

This dataset was obtained during the Aguaflash program. It contains data measured at the Larra gauging station situated on the Save river (South-Western France, Garonne watershed). The Save drains an area of 1100 km². The catchment is agricultural, with mostly forests and pastures upstream and annual crops downstream (winter wheat, sunflower, corn). Soils are calcic with a clay content ranging from 30 to 50%. The hydrologic regime is pluvial (~ 700 m of precipitation/year), with a maximum discharge in May and minimum discharge from July to September. Average daily discharge is of 6 m³/s. The Save is alimented by the Neste canal upstream.
