River Chemistry - Vieux-Habitants, Barthole

We collect in-situ water samples to monitor the chemical composition of the Bras-David river at the Maison de la Forêt site. These samples are collected manually with a frequency of approximately one measurement per month. The collected water is filtered, and laboratory analyses are conducted -- either in Guadeloupe or at IPGP -- to determine the concentrations of various chemical species in the water, as well as to measure the concentration of suspended solids in the water. The resulting data is presented in the form of a text file with different columns corresponding to datetime: local date and time (GMT-4), Site: webobs site identification code, level: water level relative to the DEAL limnimetric scale (cm), sampling type (1=automatic; 2=manual), sampling bottle (A=glass; P=polypropylene), conductivity: in-situ measured conductivity (microS/cm), temperature: water temperature (celsius degrees), conductivity compensated at 25°C: in-situ conductivity corrected for water temperature (microS/cm), pH = in-situ measured pH, suspended load = laboratory-measured suspended solid concentration (mg/L) (on a filter), Na = Sodium concentration (mg/L), K = Potassium concentration (mg/L), Mg = Magnesium concentration (mg/L), Ca = Calcium concentration (mg/L), Alc = Alkalinity (mg/L), Cl = Chlorine concentration (mg/L), SO4 = Sulfate concentration (mg/L), SiO2 = Silica concentration (mg/L), DOC = Dissolved Organic Carbon concentration (mg/L), POC = Particulate Organic Carbon concentration (mg/L).
