OVSG

We collect samples of rainwater to monitor their chemical composition. Water is collected in a 10-liter container, and the container is changed approximately once a month. The collected water is then filtered, and laboratory analyses are conducted to quantify the various chemical species present in the water. Since June 1, 2020, a vial has been collected for the analysis of water isotopes and sent to Paris (PARI Platform of IPGP). Data are provided as a csv file with the following columns: Sampling period (start and end of collection): date and local time (GMT-4), Site: webobs code for site identification, Rainfall (mm/day), Laboratory-measured conductivity (microS/cm), Laboratory-measured pH, SiO2 = Silica concentration (mg/L), Na = Sodium concentration (mg/L), K = Potassium concentration (mg/L), Mg = Magnesium concentration (mg/L), Ca = Calcium concentration (mg/L), HCO3 = Bicarbonates (mg/L), Cl = Chlorine concentration (mg/L), SO4 = Sulfate concentration (mg/L), Water isotopes dD and d18O (per mille).
