Overview
Lineage
The Roubine catchment (0.001 km2) was equipped in 1983 to measure water and sediment fluxes (both fine suspended sediment and coarse bedload material). Intense erosion is observed with annual sediment export of 11000 t/km2. The instrumental setup includes ultrasonic and nilometer sensors for water stage, a gauging Parshall flume, turbidimeter and water sampler for SS concentration, and a deposit trap to store and measure bedload.
