URBA-OPT 2019

This raster product at the French scale is processed by the fully automated and supervised processing chain (URBA-OPT) using multi-temporal Sentinel-2 images in 2019. The urban settlements including built-up areas with roads, railway, car parks are mapped at 10m spatial resolution.

Lineage

The processing chain is based on an object-based and machine learning methods using multi-temporal Sentinel-2 images for the year 2019. The processing chain and the accuracy assessment of the results are described in Wenger et al., 2024.
