This is a physical retracker that simulates scene observed by the altimeter by considering the lake/reservoir contour of the PLD.

These Level-3 products are derived from the corresponding SRAL Level-2 Thematic Demonstration Products for Hydrology (SR_2_TDP_HY), which are distributed by ESA via the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem portal.
